Do I need a telescope?

No. Come to an indoor meeting first and try society telescopes on an observing night.

Can I bring children?

Families are welcome at public sessions when the programme says so. Children must stay with an adult on observing nights.

What if it is cloudy?

Indoor meetings go ahead. Observing is cancelled or moved indoors — that is astronomy.

Where do I park?

At our usual site there is usually on-site parking. Arrive a few minutes early on busy evenings.

How do I join?
