Public observing
Stargazing sessions open to all. Experience the universe through society telescopes at our dark-sky site.
About us
Test Astro Club is a friendly astronomical society based in United Kingdom. We are open to anyone with an interest in the night sky — complete beginners included. You do not need your own telescope.
How we spend the year
Indoor meetings from September to April, member talks, and observing sessions at our usual site when the weather allows.
Talks
Expert speakers covering everything from black holes to backyard astronomy. Indoor meetings through the season.
Astrophotography
Learn to capture the cosmos. Workshops and imaging sessions throughout the year.
Community
Connect with fellow astronomers, share discoveries, and take part in collaborative projects.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome at ordinary indoor meetings — come along, say hello, and see if it suits you. For observing nights, check the programme and dress for the weather.
We meet at our usual site. Parking is usually available on site; see FAQs for practical notes.
